Iran National Team Coach: It Was Hard for Me to Cut Any Player, We Are Leaving Iran Today

The head coach of Iran’s national team said it was difficult for me to remove any of the players. Today, we are leaving Iran.

I apologize to you for canceling yesterday’s press conference.

We were supposed to announce our list at the press conference, but unfortunately, I had to cancel the briefing.

After our last observations, especially in Turkey, we announced our 25-player list.

My personal belief is that these players give us better balance from a team perspective.

If we look at it from a personal perspective, it was very difficult to leave players out of the list. For a head coach, this decision is always hard and challenging.

Today, we are leaving Iran.

Certainly, everyone understands that this was not the proper preparation for the World Cup.

There are a series of issues and problems, but our duty is to solve these problems.
