In this context, last year, Saif Mohammed Obaid Al Zaabi, the UAE ambassador to Iran, returned to Tehran and officially resumed his duties as the UAE ambassador to Iran after 7 years.

According to this report, in late March 2023, Ali Bagheri, the Deputy Foreign Minister, announced in an interview that Iran’s ambassador to the UAE has been appointed and is completing the final stages of administrative work and will be sent to Abu Dhabi in the near future.

According to news sources, the new Iranian ambassador to the UAE is Reza Ameri, the Director General of Iranian Expatriates Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
