Iran is the sixth country with a high inflation rate.

The Tehran Chamber of Commerce, in its latest report, has examined various aspects of estimates about the current status and future predictions of the global economy.

According to official statistics, currently about 39 countries in the world have an inflation rate of less than five percent. 96 countries have recorded inflation between five and 10 percent, inflation in 41 countries is between 10 and 20 percent, eight countries have inflation between 20 and 40 percent, and nine countries have inflation above 40 percent.

According to the assessments, Zimbabwe currently has the highest inflation rate among all countries in the world with an inflation of 285 percent. Following it are Venezuela with 210 percent, Sudan with 155 percent, and Turkey with 73 percent.

Inflation in Argentina is 72 percent, in Iran 49 percent, in Sri Lanka and Suriname 48 percent, in Yemen 44 percent, and in Ethiopia 34 percent.
