Iranian Media: Tehran Has Received Initial Draft of Agreement with the U.S.

Iranian media reports that Tehran has received a preliminary draft agreement with the United States.

Iranian state media reported that Tehran has received an initial and unofficial draft framework for an agreement with the United States.

According to these reports, Iran commits to restoring commercial traffic in the Strait of Hormuz to pre-war levels within a month, and in return, the United States will withdraw its military forces from around Iran and lift the naval blockade.

The reports state that coordination for managing the ship routes will be conducted with the participation of Iran and Oman.

Ali Bagheri Kani, Deputy for Foreign Policy and International Security at the Secretariat of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran, also confirmed that Tehran and Muscat are negotiating a new mechanism for the passage of ships through the Strait of Hormuz.

He said the conditions and procedures for passing through the Strait of Hormuz will be completely different from before the conflicts.

Bagheri Kani also emphasized that until everything is agreed upon, we believe nothing is agreed upon.
