Police have announced that a handwritten note was found next to the body of Kiumars Pourahmad, suggesting the suicide of this renowned Iranian director.

According to ISNA, the police information center stated in a notice that police findings indicate a handwritten note was discovered next to the late Pourahmad’s body, suggesting he committed suicide.

Kiumars Pourahmad, an Iranian director and screenwriter, passed away this morning at the age of 74.

Following the news of Mr. Pourahmad’s death, the public prosecutor of Gilan announced a few hours ago that the initial investigations by the investigator suggest Kiumars Pourahmad’s suicide.
