The Iranian women’s national ice hockey team became the runner-up in Asia.

According to Iranian media, the Iranian women’s U23 ice hockey team became the runner-up in the Asian Cup held in the UAE.

This team defeated the UAE, Kyrgyzstan, Malaysia, and India but lost to the Philippines in the final match, becoming the runner-up of this tournament.

Last year, this team defeated the Philippines national team with a score of four to zero in the final match of the Asia-Oceania tournament and won the gold medal.

According to reports, the women’s U23 national team will also participate in this year’s World Cup, and their presence in the Asian Cup is part of the preparation for a strong performance in those competitions.
