The Iranian women’s national volleyball team won against New Zealand

On Sunday, June 8th, the Iranian women’s national volleyball team faced New Zealand in their second match of the 2025 Asian Championship and won with a score of three to one.

The Iranian national players, after losing the first set with a score of 23 to 25, overcame their opponent in the next three sets with scores of 25 to 16, 25 to 12, and 25 to 18, securing their second victory in the tournament.

Iran’s starting lineup in this match included captain Negin Shirtehri, Reyhaneh Karimi, Fatemeh Manzouri, Zahra Salehi, Sepinood Dastbarjan, Fatemeh Khalili, and Kimia Kiani.

The Iranian women’s national team will face the Philippines national team in their third match on Monday, June 9th.
