Iranian drones for the Ukraine war are being built in Russia

The American newspaper Wall Street Journal, citing officials from a country allied with the United States, reported that Moscow and Tehran are advancing plans to build a new factory in Russia that can produce at least 6,000 Iranian-designed drones for the war in Ukraine.

Previously, American officials had stated that Tehran has so far provided Moscow with hundreds of drones for Russia to use in its war against Ukraine.

Ukrainian officials have also said that the country has so far shot down 540 Iranian Shahed-136 drones, but these drones have also caused significant damage to various civilian areas in Ukraine.
