Iranian Embassy in Paris Gets Ambassador After Two Years

Iran’s embassy in Paris has appointed a new ambassador after two years.

Mohammad Aminnejad has been appointed as the new ambassador of Iran in Paris. Mr. Aminnejad has previously served as Iran’s ambassador in Zimbabwe, Ivory Coast, Niger, Charge d’Affaires in Belgium and Luxembourg, Deputy Director for Western Europe Affairs, and Deputy Director for African Affairs at the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Iran’s embassy in Paris has been managed at the level of charge d’affaires since the end of Bahram Qasemi’s mission as the former ambassador of Iran from March 2022 until now.

Meanwhile, Iranian media reported that Abdullah Nakounam Ghadiri has been appointed as the new ambassador of Iran in Brazil, Mirmasoud Hosseiniyan as the new ambassador of Iran in Tunisia, Ali Teiztak as the new ambassador of Iran in Niger, and Amir Hosseini as the new ambassador of Iran in Congo.
