Iran’s advancement will be confirmed by achieving one of three scenarios

According to Opta’s analysis, Iran currently stands in sixth place in the table of the best third-placed teams and has a high chance of advancing to the knockout stage, although this position depends on the final results of groups J, K, and L.
In the current standings, Ecuador, Sweden, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Paraguay are above Iran, but the national team is still within the advancement range.
Opta has announced that if one of the following results occurs, Iran’s advancement to the knockout stage will be confirmed.
The Algeria vs. Austria match has a winner, Congo cannot defeat Uzbekistan, Ghana defeats Croatia.
If Iran advances, it is most likely to face Switzerland in the round of 16.
