Iran’s attacks on the Kurdistan Region of Iraq deploy border forces along the Turkey and Iran border.
A day after the Iranian Foreign Minister stated that Tehran has held meetings with Iraqi security officials and that the Iraqi government has committed to disarming anti-Iranian groups and distancing them from Iran’s borders, the Iraqi government, in an official statement, only announced what it described as the deployment of Iraqi border forces on the borders with Iran and Turkey.
Iranian Foreign Minister Amir-Abdollahian stated yesterday, November 23, that 76 terrorist and counter-revolutionary centers have become active in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, and Israeli and American weapons have entered the country.
