Iran’s Cycling Debt of 34,000 Euros to the International Union

The International Cycling Union has published a list of the Iranian Federation’s several-year-old foreign debts.

Rasoul Asadi, the President of the Cycling Federation, told ISNA news agency that the federation has a total debt of 34,000 euros, which is related to previous years. About 15,000 euros of it is related to athletes whose doping tests were positive. 12,000 euros are related to the debts of the Milad Do Noor Tours in Kerman and Mazandaran, which were not held, and these debts have accumulated over several years. They were supposed to host the Asian Trial Championships, which they did not hold, and we have to pay 7,000 euros for that as well. The International Cycling Union has sent us a letter requesting that these debts be settled first before we can use the solidarity programs.
