Iran's Foreign Minister: Russia Continues Efforts to Revive Nuclear Talks

The Iranian Foreign Minister says Russia continues to strive for the revival of nuclear negotiations.

Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, the Iranian Foreign Minister, upon his arrival in Moscow, told reporters in response to a question from an ISNA news agency reporter about whether the JCPOA would be on the agenda of talks between the Iranian Foreign Minister and his Russian counterpart, that the window for negotiations regarding the JCPOA remains open and one of the topics of discussion with Mr. Lavrov will be the JCPOA and the return of the parties to their commitments.

Amir-Abdollahian added that in the new round of talks between Iran and the P4+1, which lasted for months in Vienna, Russia played an important role. Our colleagues in Russia continue their efforts to bring all parties back to the negotiations, and naturally, one of the topics of discussion will be the JCPOA.
