Iran’s Foreign Ministry’s Reaction to the European Troika’s Statement

Nasser Kanaani, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, in response to the statement by the three European countries against Iran, said

It is surprising and regrettable that at a time when diplomatic interactions and message exchanges between negotiating parties and the dialogue coordinator are ongoing to finalize the negotiations, the three European countries, in a diversionary move and far from a productive approach in the negotiations, issue such a statement.

It is regrettable that the three European countries, with this ill-considered statement, have taken a step in line with the Zionist regime’s stance on the failure of negotiations, and it is obvious that if such an approach continues, they must also accept responsibility for its consequences.
