The Iranian Ministry of Intelligence has arrested the largest network supplying finances and equipment to the Monafeqin.
The Iranian Ministry of Intelligence claims it has identified the largest network supplying finances and equipment to the Monafeqin’s operational teams and has arrested its main elements.
The term ‘Monafeqin’ is used by the Islamic Republic to refer to the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran.
The statement mentions that six of the main elements of the network were arrested in a series of simultaneous operations across several provinces, 10 individuals were summoned, and several other network affiliates are being pursued.
The Iranian Ministry of Intelligence identified the network leader as Alimohammad Dolati, son of Gholamhossein, who had offices in the UAE and the Netherlands and was coordinating with the Albania-UAE-Netherlands triangle to provide the necessary operational and cover lines for financing and logistics for the terrorists.
Among the arrested individuals is the father of one of the members of the terrorist operational teams, who was arrested nearly three years ago, and due to his association with a major industrial university in the country, caused extensive media attacks against the country’s security and judicial apparatus.
