Iran’s National Junior Water Polo Team succeeded in defeating China

Iran’s National Junior Water Polo Team managed to defeat China in the semi-final stage of the Asian Age Group Championships and advanced to the finals. In these competitions hosted by the Philippines, Iran overcame the dominant power of Asian water polo with a score of 7 to 5.

The Iranian youths, coached by Ali Pirouzkhah, have reached the finals undefeated and are set to face the winner of the Japan and Kazakhstan match. Their decisive victories were 34-3 against Malaysia, 34-0 against Sri Lanka, overcoming Kazakhstan in penalty shootouts, and defeating Singapore with a score of 19 to 8 in the group stage.

Amirhossein Amirian, goalkeeper Arshia Abdollahifar, Amin Salhshour, Amir Mohammad Esmaeili, Amirali Sayadian, Mahan Abolhasani, Amin Soheili, Matin Rouhbaksh, Taha Samayi, Mehrab Golestanirad, Amin Sadeghinejad, Farbod Barghaei, Soheil Pergari, and Ali Abolghasemi are the players representing Iran in these competitions.
