Iran’s response to Trump’s warnings about suppressing protesters is psychological warfare

Ismail Baghaei, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic, in reaction to Donald Trump’s recent warnings about suppressing protesters in Iran, described these positions as psychological warfare by the United States and Israel.

On Monday, January 4th, Baghaei said in a meeting with journalists that Trump’s recent threats are psychological warfare and media manipulation against the country and considered it part of the strategy to apply pressure on Iran.

He further emphasized that our armed forces are vigilantly watching over Iran’s borders.

On Sunday, January 3rd, the President of the United States once again warned the Iranian government about the use of violence against protesters. This is considered Trump’s second public stance in recent days in response to the nationwide protests in Iran.
