Iran’s Secret Negotiations with Beijing and Moscow

The publication Politico has reported on Iran’s behind-the-scenes negotiations with China and Russia to acquire solid missile fuel, an action that violates UN sanctions. There is also concern that Tehran might help Moscow replenish its missile stockpiles.

The American publication Politico, citing diplomats familiar with the matter, reported on secret talks between Beijing, Moscow, and Tehran over solid fuel for ballistic missiles.

The report states that Iran’s negotiations have been conducted simultaneously with relevant entities in China and Russia, including the state company FKP Anozit, to obtain large quantities of ammonium perchlorate (AP), the main component of solid propellant used in ballistic missile fuel.
