Iran's U18 Girls National Team Defeats Uzbekistan

The Iranian national under-18 girls’ team defeated Uzbekistan.

Iran, the defending champion of the CAFA Central Asian Cup, won its first match in Dushanbe under the guidance of Maryam Jahannejati.

Maedeh Birang, Tania Jahanshahi, Maryam Dini, and Somayeh Esmaeili scored Iran’s goals. Esmaeili was chosen as the player of the match.

Atena Tofigh, Fatemeh Mohseni, Setayesh Feyzollahi, Mina Babouyeh, Asal Qajar, Mehrnaz Ezzatabadi, Parnia Rahmani, and Zahra Khanlarzadeh were the other starting players for Iran in this match.

The second match for the Iranian girls will be against Turkmenistan, who lost their first game 3-1 to Kyrgyzstan. Tajikistan is also present in the five-team CAFA Cup table.
