The Prime Minister of Iraq departed for Egypt

The official Iraqi news agency reported that Mohammed Shia’ Al Sudani, the Prime Minister of Iraq, departed for the Arab Republic of Egypt today, Sunday.

A statement from the Iraqi Prime Minister’s office stated that Al Sudani left Baghdad for Cairo as part of an official visit. Egyptian media also described the Iraqi Prime Minister’s trip as aimed at strengthening bilateral relations. Al Sudani is leading a high-level delegation consisting of ministers to Egypt.
