The National Security Advisor of Iraq opposes the use of its airspace for aggression against Iran.

Qasim al-Araji, the National Security Advisor of Iraq, met and discussed with Abbas Araghchi, the Deputy Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, in Tehran on Sunday, November 11.

During this meeting, the parties discussed ways to enhance the security and stability of the two countries, the implementation of border agreements, and the continuation of cooperation in combating smuggling.

According to ISNA and the information office of the Iraqi National Security Advisor, al-Araji emphasized in this meeting that Iraq strongly opposes the use of its airspace for aggression against Iran or any other country in the region.
