The newspaper affiliated with the Revolutionary Guards attacks Taraneh Alidoosti and protesting filmmakers – The place for an anti-security actor is certainly not in cinema

The newspaper Javan, linked to the Revolutionary Guards, has addressed the arrest of Taraneh Alidoosti on its front page and published a list of names of protesting actors and filmmakers, labeling them as agents.

In a report titled ‘The place for an anti-security actor is certainly not in cinema,’ the newspaper wrote that an actor’s place is not in prison, but someone who plays with security should expect appropriate consequences.

Javan, defending the arrest of Taraneh Alidoosti, wrote that when we are supposed to play a security role, we must also bear the costs of this game, and this form of acting might lead to the location of prison.

This newspaper mentioned Rakhshan Bani-Etemad, Peyman Maadi, Azadeh Samadi, Sahar Dolatshahi, Leili Rashidi, Mitra Hajjar, Ghazal Shakeri, and Hengameh Ghaziani as Taraneh Alidoosti’s peers who have shared political interests.
