IRGC Reports Targeting an Unmanned American Vessel

The IRGC Navy announced in a statement that it targeted and destroyed an unmanned US military vessel with hull number 5838, of the Saildrone type, at the entrance of the Strait of Hormuz.

The statement mentioned that the US had dispatched a number of its unmanned vessels to the Strait of Hormuz in recent days.

The IRGC Navy also claimed that the Strait of Hormuz is blocked and under the intelligence control of their forces, and any hostile military presence in this waterway will be targeted.
