The Head of Crisis Management of Isfahan stated that the smoke around the Isfahan nuclear site is due to a waste fire.

Mansour Shisheh Foroush, the Director General of Crisis Management at the Isfahan Governorate, in a conversation with Mehr, regarding the smoke observed around the Isfahan nuclear site, stated that this smoke is due to a fire at the Isfahan waste site.

The waste at this site has spontaneously caught fire due to the heat, and firefighting forces are currently working to extinguish the blaze.
