The Islamic Republic Newspaper wrote: Statistics indicate the migration of thousands of specialist doctors from the country each year, and the current feeling of a shortage of doctors and medical poverty, especially in small cities. This concern is also felt regarding the migration of nurses, to the extent that many hospitals and medical centers are experiencing a shortage of medical staff, causing problems for people in terms of treatment.
In the United States alone, 8,000 Iranian doctors are present at the highest level. Many Iranian doctors are also working in countries like Canada, Germany, the UK, France, and other European countries, as well as in Arab and Eastern countries.
