Ismail Baghaei to Americans: Don’t let them turn you into foot soldiers of war
Ismail Baghaei, spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic, urged American citizens not to let their government turn them into foot soldiers on the war front.
Baghaei wrote on X: Do not let them turn you into foot soldiers of the war front and payers of its expenses, a war that was never your choice. Do not allow your children to become mercenaries for their illegal war.
These remarks were made after Donald Trump, the President of the United States, said Washington might soon target Mount Kalang near the Natanz nuclear facilities.
Trump also described the conflict with Iran as relatively small for America and added that many do not call it a war. I call it a military conflict because it is a relatively small issue for us.
