Israel: Hamas fired rockets from a safe zone for Gaza refugees

Israel accused Palestinian militants of launching rockets from within an area located in the southern Gaza Strip, which is said to be a safe haven for civilians fleeing the eight-week-long conflict.

The Israeli army accused Hamas of using civilians as human shields, stating that on Wednesday, 12 rockets were fired from the Al-Mawasi area and at least one more rocket was launched from near a safe zone in Rafah.
