The Israeli ambassador announced full readiness for escalating tensions with the Islamic Republic.
Danny Danon, the Israeli ambassador to the United Nations, warned on Tuesday that Israel is at the highest level of readiness to confront any escalation of tensions with the Islamic Republic, and Tehran should not test its military capabilities.
He said, ‘We are fully prepared and ready to respond with our defensive capabilities should anything occur.’
The Israeli ambassador further condemned Iran’s missile program, the concealment of enriched uranium, and the violent suppression of protesters, emphasizing that any subsequent action against the Islamic Republic depends on the decision of the United States and that Israel operates in full coordination with Washington.
Danon also supported political change in Iran, saying, ‘We hope and pray for change to occur, but the choice of a new leader is up to the Iranian people.’
Referring to Tehran’s threats against the United States and Washington’s military support, including the deployment of the aircraft carrier Abraham Lincoln to the Middle East, he emphasized that Israel is prepared for all scenarios.
