Israeli attack on Nablus leaves two dead
The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced on Wednesday, February 22, that at least two Palestinians were killed and 36 injured in an Israeli army attack on the city of Nablus in the West Bank.
The condition of four of the injured admitted to the hospital is critical.
Al Jazeera news agency reported from Ramallah that most of the injured were hit by live ammunition.
Widespread clashes occurred immediately after the Israeli army attacked Nablus at 10 AM local time on Wednesday with dozens of armored vehicles and special forces.
Israeli forces blocked all entrances to the city and then surrounded a house reportedly harboring Husam Slim, one of the wanted Palestinian activists.
There is no information available about his fate.
