Axios media reported, citing a US official and another informed source, that Israeli Defense Minister, Yoav Gallant, told US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin on Monday, April 26, that Israel has no options other than responding to the unprecedented missile and drone attacks carried out by Iran over the weekend.

The Biden administration and several other Western countries have urged Israel under Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu not to rush into retaliatory actions against Iran that could escalate into a regional war.
