The Israeli Hebrew newspaper Yedioth did not allow the EU’s High Representative for Foreign Affairs to enter.
The Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper reported that the EU’s High Representative for Foreign Affairs informed Israel’s ambassador to the EU that Israel’s Foreign Minister did not allow him to travel to Palestine.
The European Union has not yet reacted to the Israeli media reports on this matter.
Borrell, who is nearing the end of his mission as the EU’s High Representative for Foreign Affairs, arrived in Beirut today at the start of his trip to West Asian countries.
The EU’s High Representative for Foreign Affairs had previously announced that the union is seeking to sanction Ben-Gvir, Israel’s Minister of National Security, and Smotrich, Israel’s Finance Minister.
