An Israeli military official told Reuters that Iran had targeted some of the country’s military centers.
An Israeli military official told Reuters news agency that during the 12-day war with Iran, some Israeli military centers were targeted.
According to Reuters, this is the first public acknowledgment of military centers being targeted.
The official, who wished to remain anonymous, told Reuters today, Tuesday, July 8, that a very small number of military centers were hit but remained operational.
The official refrained from providing further details, including the names of these centers or the extent of the damage.
Last month, Iran targeted Israel with missile and drone attacks in 22 waves after Israel’s surprise attack on June 13.
Iran’s attacks were often on densely populated cities like Tel Aviv and Haifa, and military installations around Beersheba in southern Israel.
Iran has repeatedly stated that Israeli military and security centers have been targeted and damaged.
According to Israeli officials, 28 people were killed in Iran’s attacks.
Iranian officials say 1,060 people were killed in Israeli attacks.
