Israel’s attack on an Iranian car manufacturing plant in Syria

Syrian state media and a monitoring group say Israel targeted three trucks carrying food and medicine destined for Lebanon inside the Iranian Saipa car manufacturing plant in Syria.

The UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that in the attack on Sunday, October 7, three aid workers were injured.

The official Syrian news agency also confirmed this attack on the Civico company plant, in which Saipa holds an 80% share, claiming that the attack also caused financial damages.

This company was inaugurated in 2007 to produce Pride cars and its activities have been halted several times.
