Israel’s Defense Minister says Khamenei’s successor will also be targeted
Israel Katz, the Israeli Defense Minister, has stated that any leader who replaces Ayatollah Khamenei in the Islamic Republic will be attacked.
He said that any leader chosen by the Iranian regime to continue the leadership plan of Israel’s destruction, threatening the United States, the free world, and regional countries, and oppressing the Iranian people, will be a definite target for elimination, regardless of their name or hiding place.
The former leader of the Islamic Republic was killed on Saturday in the early hours of an Israeli and American attack at his residence.
In Iran, there are discussions about a vote by the Assembly of Experts to choose a successor for the leader of the Islamic Republic, but no definitive result of such a vote has been officially announced yet.
