It seems like no country understands that the FATF is harmful, only we understand it.
Why is it that every time we talk about a small issue like joining the global banking network and addressing the problems of Iran’s public and private trade, we are met with strange and ridiculous responses and even the uproar of a small group?
Isn’t the rest of the world, from the USA to Russia, from Europe to China, and from Saudi Arabia to Cuba, aware of what a big trap the FATF is? Why is it only us who must remain behind the gates of trade and development, while the mafia of profiteers deprives our great nation of free trade?
Time is short, and the opponents are strong. The world won’t wait for us to take our time and leisurely enter a market whose goods have a hefty price. What no longer has any buyers today is mere showmanship.
