Jafarzadeh Imenabadi: If Raisi Had Confidence, He Would Run for the Assembly of Experts from Tehran

Jafarzadeh Emen Abadi: If Raisi had confidence, he would have run for the Assembly of Experts from Tehran.

Jafarzadeh Emen Abadi, a former member of parliament: The reality is that Zarif is popular. The fascist propaganda campaign against the previous government by the hardliners was considered successful by them, but with the recent statements of Zarif and Rouhani, they suddenly realized it’s not the case. Raisi’s performance somehow created popularity for Rouhani, and Rouhani might be able to fill parts of the void left by the late Hashemi, which deeply concerns the hardliners.

When Raisi went to his province and registered, why didn’t they say anything? Because he wasn’t popular in the capital. But why didn’t they criticize him? Rouhani has now run from the capital.

If Raisi had confidence, he would have run from Tehran. Of course, I disagree with the way the state TV treats everyone. All the right-wing efforts to undermine Rouhani and Zarif only increased their popularity.
