Jamileh Alamolhoda Met with Maduro's Wife in Venezuela

Jamileh Alamolhoda met with Maduro’s wife in Venezuela

Jamileh Alamolhoda, the wife of Ebrahim Raisi, is accompanying him on his trip to Venezuela and has met with Cilia Flores, the wife of Nicolas Maduro, the president of this country.

The image of this meeting has sparked reactions considering previous meetings and news related to Mrs. Alamolhoda.

In February 2023, she hosted the International Congress of Influential Women, which led to her being referred to as the First Lady, although she believes the title of First Lady is reserved for the wife of Ali Khamenei, the leader of the Islamic Republic.

In Iran, there is no defined position for a First Lady, and until now, the wives of presidents were either less seen in official ceremonies or only their names and photos were published.

Previously, Mrs. Alamolhoda had an official meeting with Shahnaz Ibrahim, the wife of the President of Iraq, and the images published from that meeting resembled diplomatic encounters.
