The Javan newspaper: The news of separating men and women’s train cars is false

In a report, the Javan newspaper criticized the Ham Mihan newspaper, writing

There is no such thing as separating women and men in the Tehran Metro, and it is merely an option for women who, for any reason, do not want to ride in the same car with men.

However, if a woman, for any reason, still needs or prefers to be in a mixed space, this option is available to her, and she can use other cars since the Tehran Metro does not have cars specifically for men where women are prohibited. Apart from the women-only cars, the rest of the cars are family or mixed.
