Jeffries: The war with Iran must end now, don’t wait for the new Congress
Hakeem Jeffries, the leader of the House Democrats who is expected to become the next Speaker of the House, called for an end to the war against Iran before the new Congress begins in an interview with CNN. He said this war has significantly raised the prices of gasoline, diesel, and chemical fertilizers, increasing the cost of food and goods, and putting more pressure on American households. Jeffries emphasized that there was never a reason to enter this war, and we must immediately withdraw from it. He added that many Americans, despite working hard and following the rules, are struggling to make ends meet.
