Joe Biden: I am feeling fine and have no issues after contracting COVID.

The White House announced on Wednesday, noting that the President is experiencing mild symptoms of the illness, that Joe Biden, the President of the United States, contracted the coronavirus during his trip to Las Vegas as part of his election campaign.

The website of Al-Sharq Al-Awsat newspaper wrote that the 81-year-old Biden told reporters before boarding his presidential plane heading to his home in Delaware that he feels good.

This news was released just minutes after the head of a Latino union announced that Biden had contacted him to apologize for being unable to deliver a speech to its members after his positive virus test.

Janet Murguía, the president of Unidos, said, ‘I just spoke with President Biden on the phone, and he expressed his deep disappointment at not being able to join us this afternoon.’

The White House issued a statement saying that Biden is suffering from a runny nose and cough along with a general feeling of fatigue and is now receiving the anti-COVID drug Paxlovid.

He added that his symptoms are still mild, his breathing rate is normal, his body temperature is normal, and his pulse rate is also normal.
