Joe Biden’s Concern Over Leak of Classified Documents Regarding Israel’s Plan to Attack Iran
The White House National Security Council spokesperson says that President Joe Biden of the United States is deeply concerned about the leak of classified documents regarding Israel’s plan to attack Iran.
On Monday, October 22, John Kirby told reporters that the government is still unsure whether these classified documents were accidentally leaked or released through hacking.
American officials announced on Saturday that the government is investigating the leak of these classified documents, which assess Israel’s potential attack plans on Iran.
These documents are attributed to the U.S. Geospatial Intelligence Agency and the National Security Agency, showing that Israel is still moving its military forces to attack Iran in response to a missile attack by the Islamic Republic that occurred on October 2.
The mentioned documents, marked as top secret, were published on the messaging app Telegram, and the news of the leak was first reported by CNN and Axios.
