Joint Exercise of Iran and Russia in the Caspian Sea

On Wednesday, Russia began a large-scale naval exercise with the participation of over 150 ships and 15,000 personnel in the Pacific Ocean, Arctic Ocean, Baltic Sea, and Caspian Sea.

According to Reuters, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that this exercise, named July Storm, will be held from July 23 to July 27. More than 120 aircraft and 10 missile systems will participate on the shore, and it will test the fleet’s readiness for unusual operations, the use of long-range weapons, and other advanced technologies, including navigation systems.

This exercise in the Caspian Sea was conducted with the cooperation of the naval forces of the Islamic Republic Army and the Navy of the Revolutionary Guard.
