Joint Statement by the United States and the Gulf Cooperation Council

The United States and the member countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council issued a statement condemning the continued destabilizing policies of the Islamic Republic, including support for terrorism, the use of advanced missiles, cyber warfare tools, and unmanned aerial systems (drones), and their proliferation in the region and across the world.

In the joint statement by the United States and the Gulf Cooperation Council, released on Thursday, February 16, it is stated that the Islamic Republic, along with its proxies and partners, has targeted civilians, critical infrastructure, and maritime vessels internationally using Iranian weapons.

According to Saudi media reports, the defense meeting of the working group between the United States and the member countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council was held on February 15 in Riyadh, focusing on confronting the increasing threats from Iran in the region.
