Jordan’s Parliament voted to expel the Israeli ambassador
On Wednesday, Jordan’s Parliament voted to expel the Israeli ambassador from Amman in protest against the remarks made by Bezalel Smotrich, the Finance Minister of the right-wing Israeli government, who earlier this week denied the existence of the Palestinian nation.
In his remarks, Smotrich claimed that there is no Palestinian history or language, asserting that the existence of the Palestinian nation is artificial and fabricated.
