Jordan’s Foreign Minister: The Palestinian people have nothing left to lose
Ayman Safadi, Jordan’s Foreign Minister, says that Israel’s declared goal of attacking Gaza to destroy Hamas will not solve the Palestinian issue.
He addressed Israeli officials, saying if you are dissatisfied with Hamas’s actions, convince the Palestinians that they have a future and that Hamas stands between them and their future.
Safadi stated that the Palestinian people have nothing left to lose and called the deprivation of Gaza’s residents from water, food, fuel, and medical facilities by Israel a war crime.
He added that he calls for the release of hostages by Hamas but opposes linking humanitarian aid to their release.
