Judiciary: Fashion Show in Tehran Bazaar Was Against Public Decency

The judiciary deemed the fashion show in Tehran’s market against public decency.

Following the widespread circulation of a women’s fashion show in Tehran’s Grand Bazaar, the media center of the Islamic Republic’s judiciary announced on Wednesday, September 16, that the business unit hosting the show has been sealed and legal cases have been filed against the organizers.

The judiciary described this fashion show as contrary to ethics and public decency.

In the published video of the show, young women can be seen walking on a red carpet wearing clothes that do not align with the government’s definition of legal attire.
