According to Mizan, the judiciary news agency of Iran, this individual was accused of killing Abbas Ali Soleimani on April 26th with a firearm in Babolsar.
The name of the convicted person has not been announced.
According to Mizan, the initial verdict was sent to the Supreme Court for appeal, and the presiding judges upheld the lower court’s decision.
Abbas Ali Soleimani was a representative in the fourth and fifth terms of the Assembly of Experts from the province of Sistan and Baluchestan and also had a history of representing the Supreme Leader in Sistan and Baluchestan and Kashan.
According to reports, three others were injured in this assassination attempt.
