The spokesperson for the judiciary announced that 20 indictments related to electoral crimes have been issued.
Masoud Setayeshi, the judiciary spokesperson, stated that most of the reports we received focused on violations due to premature electoral advertising. In previous years, you have also observed such cases, and most of these types of advertisements have been considered part of conventional electoral advertising and have been common in past periods.
The judiciary spokesperson highlighted that according to the reports we received, 460 reports related to unconventional electoral advertising by candidates or electoral nominees have been received by us.
He emphasized that in this regard, prosecutors, who are members of provincial and county committees for the prevention of electoral crimes, have summoned 420 candidates and individuals associated with political or legal organizations. Necessary warnings have been given to them with the aim of deterring such actions.
