The Judiciary Spokesperson: 262 properties have been seized since the war began
Asghar Jahangir, the spokesperson for Iran’s Judiciary, announced that since the recent war began, 262 properties have been seized in various parts of the country.
He said that so far, 722 inquiries have been made by the Registration Organization, resulting in these properties being seized. According to Jahangir, these cases are in addition to the frozen bank accounts belonging to individuals labeled as mercenaries or accused by the government.
The Judiciary Spokesperson added that these assets will be confiscated in favor of the Iranian nation once court rulings are finalized.
Previously, the Judiciary had announced that these individuals were accused of collaborating with the enemy, but details about the trial process and how the rulings were issued have not been released.
In recent weeks, there have been reports of property seizures involving a wide range of individuals, including political activists, journalists, artists, and former actors.
