Judiciary Spokesperson Says Toumaj Salehi's Remarks Led to New Charges Against Him

The spokesperson for the judiciary said that Toumaj Salehi’s statements led to new charges against him.

Masoud Setayeshi stated that after his release, Toumaj Salehi made some remarks in one of the northern provinces, which led to his summons and the explanation of new charges against him, and a legal bail was issued for these new charges.

Based on a previously open case, that order was also intensified.

He is currently in temporary detention in prison, and after the case is processed swiftly, we will inform about it.
